Who we are

Quipp AI is an app by Round Table. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at dev@wsbroundtable.com.

What data we collect

Very little. Here is exactly what happens when you use the app:

  • The name, connection type, goal, and vibe you enter are sent to our AI API to generate your opener. They are not stored on our servers after the response is returned.
  • Your saved openers stay on your device only, using local storage — we can't read their content. Separately, we record that an action happened (for example, that a save happened), never what you saved. See Analytics below for exactly what that covers.
  • We do not collect your personal information — no email address, no account, no name tied to you as a person. What we do collect is information about how the app itself is used: which screens people visit, and whether key actions like generating or saving an opener are completed. We use this for one purpose: understanding how the app is used and improving it. It is never sold or shared with advertisers.

No account. No ads. No cross-app tracking.

Your saved openers stay on your device. Contact fields used to generate an opener are sent transiently to the AI and are not stored after the response returns. We collect app-usage data — never your personal information — to understand how the app is used and improve it.

Contacts

The app requests access to your iPhone contacts so you can select who you are reaching out to. When you pick a contact, we read the following fields from that contact card: display name, nickname, job title, company, birthday, and home city or address (first address only). These fields are sent transiently to our backend and on to the AI API to personalize the opener for that specific person. They are not stored on our servers after the response returns. Phone numbers and email addresses from your contacts are never read. Contacts access uses the system read-only picker and does not write back to your address book.

Camera and microphone

The optional voice and video practice recording feature requests access to your camera and microphone. If you use this feature, recordings are saved only to your device's photo library (your camera roll). Recordings are never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party. Granting camera and microphone access is entirely optional. The core opener generation flow does not require these permissions.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple through the App Store and by Adapty. We do not collect or store your payment information. For billing questions, go to your Apple ID settings.

Analytics

We do not use advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or ad networks.

  • Adapty (our subscription management provider) logs paywall view events and purchase history to power the subscription flow. This is tied to your subscription profile, not to your name or contact details.
  • Sentry (our crash-reporting provider) receives crash and error diagnostics so we can fix bugs. It does not receive the content of your openers or contacts.
  • App-usage analytics— which screens are visited, whether key actions like generating or saving an opener are completed — is stored in our own database, not sent to a third party. It's tied to a random ID generated the first time you open the app, stored only on your device. This ID is separate from your Adapty subscription profile, is not synced via iCloud, and resets if you reinstall the app — it does not follow you across devices and is never linked to your personal identity.

None of the above is used for cross-app tracking or advertising. We do not use session recording tools, and we do not read or store the content of the openers you generate.

Your data, your choice

You can turn off app-usage analytics anytime in Settings → Usage Analytics. App-usage events are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Since we don't collect your email or create an account, there's nothing tied to your identity to request or delete beyond reinstalling the app, which resets your on-device analytics ID.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
